The thematic design of the museum will present key decisions faced by President Bush and his administration – from designing and passing the No Child Left Behind Act to responding to the terrorists attacks of September 11, 2001 – through interactive exhibits. Visitors will be able to weigh various options based on the circumstances and information presented for each scenario. They will be invited to engage in the complex decision making environment of the White House and emerge with a clearer understanding of the core principles that led President Bush to make the choices he did.
Life in the White HouseVisitors will experience the unique world of “Life in the White House,” from the majesty of a State Dinner to Mrs. Bush’s renovations to the historic Lincoln Bedroom to quiet weekends with the First Couple at the Camp David presidential retreat. The museum will also house an exact replica of the Oval Office, complete with a southeastern exposure.
Museum visits will conclude with an exhibit of the ongoing work of the George W. Bush Institute and the activities of President and Mrs. Bush.
