Pursuit of Platinum

The building and grounds are designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification, the highest level green rating possible. The new facility will be constructed of 20% recycled materials and will use a variety of regionally sourced building materials.

The LEED green building certification programs encourage and accelerate global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through a suite of rating systems that recognize projects that implement strategies for better environmental and health performance.
