Partnership with SMU

The Bush Center will be located on a prominent 24-acre site on the campus of Southern Methodist University, enabling a partnership between an active presidential center and a distinguished national university in the heartland of America.

From scholarly research, educational activities, and an interactive museum at the Library to joint conferences and public lectures hosted by the Institute, the vibrant collaboration between the Bush Center and SMU will serve as a resource for Dallas and the Nation.

Southern Methodist University, is a private university of 11,000 students near the center of Dallas. SMU offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs through seven schools—in the humanities and sciences; business; the performing, visual, and communication arts; engineering; education and human development; law and theology.
